TESSERAMESH

The line-up

Every part has a Roman name and a plain one. Every part also has a status, because most of this is still on paper.

Designed files exist and can be built. Specified and Concept requirements and a drawing exist. Idea named and described, nothing more.

The app

Android app Specified

The centre of everything: offline map with team positions, one-tap status and SOS, encrypted messages and the plan. It talks to a tracker over Bluetooth. A full specification exists; no code is public yet.

Tessera

our own tracker Designed

Worn on a pack or vest. A check-in button, an SOS button under a guard, a vibration alert, satellite positioning and a standard cell you can swap in the field. The case is designed and can be printed; the electronics use bought modules.

Signaculum

a bought card tracker with our mark Concept

The quick way in: a standard card-sized tracker, pre-configured. One button, three lights, thirty grams. A concept that is not agreed with any manufacturer.

Specula

repeater Concept

Holds the high ground. The fixed version stands on a pole or tripod with a solar panel. The drop version is strapped to a tree where the group moves to and runs a month on its battery.

Statio

hub Concept

A sealed case with a repeater, a message store and local Wi-Fi that hands out the app, maps and plan with no internet. It holds no keys.

Columen

hub with screen and keyboard Concept

A Statio you can sit down at. It shows the board for a whole site and is where the long-haul radio plugs in.

Aquila

comm pod for a drone Concept

A repeater that flies. A drone lifts it above a ridge for the length of a flight and connects two valleys that cannot hear each other.
